Once again, Blessed Sacrament is participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's, Pennies for Patients campaign. For the next three weeks we ask that students collect spare change and return to the homeroom teachers to help those afflicted with blood cancer. Help make a difference, a penny at a time:)

As part of the celebration of the Pope's visit to D.C. we will join other schools in the archdiocese to complete a service project in his honor. Each month a different grade will be assigned to donate gently-worn shoes for ages 5-14 to put into our Pope Francis Donation Box. (Students with no shoes to donate are encouraged to donate a new pair of socks.) At the end of the month, Christ Care Corps will collect the shoes which will be delivered to the McCarrick Family Center: a Catholic Charities organization.
