Dear Parents,

We just had our last Open House of the school year on Wednesday evening. It was only our second evening Open House (we did one last year as well) and it was very well attended. The feel of the school is quite different without the children here but we had the Student Council present and many eager, joyful parents to assist the students in giving tours. We also had teacher representatives from across the grade levels to meet and greet the parents and we had the HSA do their usual excellent job of hospitality. Thank you to everyone who made the evening a welcoming experience for the visiting families. As a result of our Open Houses, we have generated a lot of interest for the upcoming year.

But, before we can start accepting new people, we want to make sure that we get our current students re-enrolled. So, look for an email from support@TADS.com early next week to complete re-enrollment. This is the same process we have used the past few years (our re-enrollment fee has not changed) and it is very simple. However, if you have any questions about the process, please contact Nancy Ryan. We look forward to seeing all of you back next year.

Notes about inclement weather:

We follow Montgomery County for all weather related delays and closings. However, if Montgomery County closes early, we will be here until the end of the day. This past week, it was not a problem to do regular dismissal but you are always welcome to come pick up early if Montgomery County closes early (and if the weather is really turning bad, you are encouraged to pick up early). We remain open primarily as a courtesy to you, if you are having challenges getting here for an early pick up. On those early closing days, we will NOT have After Care.

Also, if we have a delayed opening, the gym doors will open at 9:45. Please do not drop off your child before that time.

Faithfully,
Chris Kelly
